It’s Time to Ask More of Open Data
At least 18M open datasets exist today–more than 7X the number of websites at Google’s launch. Taxpayers around the world are funding much of this effort. Now that this vast and growing data array is available, it’s time to focus on its capacity to solve difficult problems faster.
Let’s get even more from what we’re paying for, supercharge open data we’ve already published, link disparate datasets to uncover fresh insights, and make sure new datasets are optimized from moment one.
The panelists are celebrated open data leaders who will share lessons from their work in enhancing discoverability, usability, and a range of other factors that maximize open data’s problem-solving power.
