Over the course of my career, what I've discovered is people are just as interested in an artist's story as they are in an artist’s music. It’s probably because good music tells a story. Me? I come from a small town. I’m one of 12 from a blended family. My mother cannot read or write. I've been homeless in LA and New York. I was the first in my family to graduate from high school. And now? Now I am a full-time musician, philanthropist and public speaker who is blessed to travel the world. Growing up, I had next-to-nothing but thanks to my gifts, talents, drive, faith and journey, I’ve been able to land a publishing deal, open for artists like John Legend, share the stage with Faith Hill and speak across the country. I’m here to share how to take YOUR OWN STORY and build from there…so that you can watch how the world opens up to you—and your abilities—once you do.
