Get Out, Be In: What I've Learned Working Remotely
A year ago, the speaker sold nearly everything he owned, lived in AirBnBs for three months, and settled into a new home in a remote, rural area of Vermont. Over that year, he learned a lot about creating a great remote working arrangement and environment. Topics include: Set up a workspace for efficiency, the tyranny of office culture, and how to make it work for you, using mobile to aid productivity, office niceties-being sensitive to those you're working with, time and space killers-things that will guarantee your remote work will fail. Participants in this session will come away with practical, valuable tips on how to make the most of anytime you're away from home.
