Short Changed: Why Women’s Salaries Fall Short

The gender wage gap is one of the most widely-publicized topics in the tech industry today and while companies recognize there’s a problem, few have successfully achieved their goals for solving it. Not only are women earning less than their male counterparts, but they’re asking for less during the negotiation process, creating a cycle of undervaluation throughout their careers. This panel of experts will offer actionable steps that companies can take to close the gap, discuss how data-based policies can fix wage inequality, and highlight what role women can play in this process.
