Muuy Biien is a band from Athens, Georgia. Early recordings juxtaposed dreary, lo-fi ambience with intense bits of minimalist post-punk and hardcore fury. In 5 years, the band has evolved to incorporate these two disparate elements into a sound that is both restrained in aesthetic and furious in delivery. On their newest album, Age of Uncertainty (Autumn Tone), goth, dub and film noir soundtrack have all crept their way into the group's sonic landscape. Experimentation with tempo and instrumentation have allowed Age of Uncertainty to serve as the band's much needed departure from their punk roots.

Muuy Biien pays homage to their influences but constantly change the focus of where this inspiration lies. They are creatively restless and already at work on a follow up album.

The band thrives on stage, where their range of styles all find cohesion in a chaotic and brooding performance.

Muuy Biien has been fortunate to share the stage with ICEAGE, Faust, Metz, Odonis Odonis, Girl Band, Magma, Cold Cave, The Spits, Black Lips, Lighting Bolt, The Coathangers, Weaves, The Soft Moon, Mothers and Chain and the Gang (Ian Svenonius).
