Minneapolis synth-pop duo Holidae is a project from R&B singer Ashley Gold and synth wizard Garrett Neal. Together they create a mystifying world full of heavy beats, uplifting synths, and poppy melodies, both coolly inventive and warmly emotive. Gold and Neal’s ascent began by winning Star Tribune’s “Are you Local?” contest. They just released a follow up, Scared EP (2017) to their debut album, TANTRUM (2016).
