My career in marketing communications spans two decades. This tenure has afforded me the opportunity to cultivate marketing and public relations endeavors for a prominent contemporary arts museum, manage elaborate marketing communications efforts for four consecutive Olympic Games (the culmination of these efforts was winning an Emmy for my role as an associate producer/writer for NBC), work as the Director of Media & Public Relations for a top-five U.S. Olympic sport, orchestrate an celebrity product endorsement for international soccer player Pele, develop a complex public relations and marketing platform for a large downtown development project, and negotiate and secure multi-million dollar partnership contracts.
During the last three years at the Austin CVB, I have engaged and hosted global press to garner and shape coverage worth millions in media value and impressions – helping to increase the economic impact the industry has on the City of Austin. My feature, web, academic writing and photography, and design have all been published in various professional and academic publication.
I am a proud two-time University of Texas graduate, earning my Bachelor's degree in Journalism, and Master’s Degree in Public Affairs.
