This Mentor Session requires advance online sign up and is available to all Film, Gold, and Platinum badgeholders on a first-come, first-served basis. Online sign ups will open in February.
Registrants who sign up online must check-in 30 minutes before their mentor time slot to guarantee their spot. Limited on-site sign up is also available for a small number of Mentor Sessions spots and will begin 30 minutes before the first time slot of each session.

Shira Rockowitz serves as Senior Manager of Sundance Institute’s Feature Film Program. She plays a key role in outreach and selection for the Screenwriters, Directors and New Frontier Story Labs and provides support to alumni filmmakers and artists as they work to bring their projects from development to audience. She also collaborates on various Institute programs including the FilmTwo, Catalyst and Diversity Initiatives. Prior to joining Sundance, Rockowitz was director of development and production at Exclusive Media. She is a co-producer on the Academy Award nominated Begin Again. Other films include The Quiet Ones, Snitch and End of Watch. Prior to joining Exclusive Media, Rockowitz held development and production positions at New Regency and Paramount Vantage. She started her career as a marketing and publicity executive for Fine Line Features/New Line Cinema. A native of New Rochelle, NY, she is a graduate of Northwestern University and holds an MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California, where she is currently an adjunct lecturer.Hide the rest
