Suzi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Verb, Inc. Verb produces massive social innovation competitions that accelerate thousands of early stage social entrepreneurs around the world through seed funding, mentorship and global exposure. Verb spun out of the University of Texas at Austin where it began as the Dell Social Innovation Challenge, engaging over 8,000 ventures from 60 countries and awarding more than $800,000 in seed funding. Now Verb partners with global corporations, foundations and governments to produce social entrepreneurship competitions focused on the issues or geographies they care about most. Previously Suzi led the Social Entrepreneurship program at the University of Texas at Austin and before that spent several years as a senior executive in the private sector in Austin, TX. She is the co-founder of several Austin non-profits, including Innovation+ and Austin Women Entrepreneurs and has served as an advisor or board member for many others. Suzi was a Contributing Editor in social entrepreneurship for Inc magazine. Her passion is the quest for sustainable, scalable social impact with a particular focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. Suzi has a Masters in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and a B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program from the University of Texas at Austin.
