This Mentor Session requires advance online sign up and is available to all Film, Gold, and Platinum badgeholders on a first-come, first-served basis. Online sign ups will open in February.
Registrants who sign up online must check-in 30 minutes before their mentor time slot to guarantee their spot. Limited on-site sign up is also available for a small number of Mentor Sessions spots and will begin 30 minutes before the first time slot of each session.

An oversees ARRI's Emerging Filmmaker Grant programs for the Americas. ARRI recognizes the need to support independent storytellers with tools to bring their visions to screen by offering equipment loans for camera and lighting. Past projects that have been supported include OPERATOR (premiering at SXSW 2016), BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD, FRUITVALE STATION, HELLO I MUST BE GOING, DRUNKTOWN'S FINEST, IMPERIAL DREAMS, RESULTS and more. This year, the camera grant features the AMIRA camera - perfect for indie productions.
As a writer and photojournalist, An has covered culture, technology and filmmaking for the past decade. Her articles and interviews have appeared in American Cinematographer, Filmmaker, Exposure, In Camera, Videography, LAist and the Los Angeles Times. She serves as member of the Technology Committee of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Digital Cinema Society. She is a Film Independent Producers Lab Fellow and Film Independent Project: Involve Fellow for writing and directing. An recently produced “As You Were," an episode for the groundbreaking Futurestates series for PBS and ITVS. "Life Begins at Rewirement,” for Season 3 of Futurestates premiered at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival. An is a graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts and School of English.Hide the rest
