Smart City: The Austin Opportunity for Health
In a truly smart city, health means more than medicine. Creativity and design thinking; digital innovation, data collection and analytics; coherent street networks and cityscapes — all contribute to the way a city’s people live, work, play and heal. In Austin, such forces have come together in a transformative way with a top-to-bottom effort to rethink health and revolutionize the way people get and stay healthy. This panel will explore the Austin community’s unprecedented investment in health and the leaders from a wide range of disciplines who are coming together to form a crucible of innovation that will fulfill the Austin Opportunity and produce lessons from which the world will learn.
