Mr. Kacerguis is an Senior Lead Engineer in the Strategic Innovation Group at Booz Allen Hamilton.  He is an expert in Software and Infrastructure Architecture, Containerization, DevOps Methodologies, Data Center Automation, and development team management and is a major advocate for using open-source software in the enterprise. He focuses on leading Booz Allen's Open Source efforts to design and build cutting edge solutions to enterprise systems for commercial and public sector clients.  He has worked with several major government entities and private sector companies including: the General Services Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, major pharmaceutical and financial companies, RedHat, Microsoft, and Booz Allen's Project Jellyfish.  He has utilized cutting edge software like; Docker, Chef, Amazon Web Services, RedHat, Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Heroku, Microsoft Azure, Github, and Jenkins to deliver major cost savings, advanced automation, and increasing developer productivity.

Nic Perez, is primarily a solutions architect, architecting and implementing large-scale software solutions for both commercial and across multiple federal civilian markets. He is currently a lead Cloud Strategy SME assisting clients with infrastructure transformation, infrastructure and architecture strategy development, business and technical case analysis for change, technical evaluations, recommendations and alternatives analysis primarily leveraging public cloud architectures.

Nic has over 10 years of hands-an experience with crowdsourcing, the Topcoder platform and the Topcoder community. He has launched a large number of successful challenges for Federal and Commercial clients on the platform and is the firm’s subject matter expert for technical crowdsourcing delivery, community and prize based challenges.
