Cities Unlocking Impact
Cities are on the front lines when it comes to meeting residents’ needs. Everything from emergency services to quality education falls to local leaders. While service delivery & procurement processes may be seen as routine, they’re critical to addressing cities' greatest challenges. With the vast impact social programs have on vulnerable residents, one such challenge they help address is inequality. The Government Performance Lab at Harvard Kennedy School’s Jeff Liebman will lead a discussion on how cities can unlock greater impact & help alleviate poverty by using data. Panelists will discuss progress & hurdles in applying a results-oriented lens to tasks critical for the greater good.
