How to Disrupt Government

Saturday, March 12
2:00PM - 3:00PM

Omni Downtown
Capital Ballroom
700 San Jacinto Blvd

You will learn in this workshop to develop a public advocacy campaign targeting the audiences that impact civic/public backlash to disruptive technologies and products. You will workshop case studies of recent issues (Uber, Airbnb) and workshop a campaign for a hypothetical technology. Learn from the experts how to effectively engage elected officials, ensure new products aren’t encumbered with old regulation, and how to effectively organize stakeholder engagement to create solutions instead of additional problems.
