Email Is the Devil and Must Be Vanquished
A tool originally designed to make communication faster and easier has insidiously morphed into a time-sucking, motivation-extinguishing, headache-inducing productivity-killer.
The average worker sends and receives 105 emails per day, checks email 36 times an hour, and has their IQ effectively reduced by 10 points due to email distraction. We are using email for things it’s not good for. We have built up lazy habits. And it’s unsustainable for the future.
Let’s exorcise this foul spirit from our workdays. We will explore workable alternatives, inbox hacks and collaborative techniques, and even look for glimmers of the good soul that exists buried deep beneath email’s satanic surface.
