Chris Mountford is a passionate software engineer, blogger and entertaining speaker from Australia where he is active in the Sydney Bitcoin community. Starting out like any other 80s nerd-child, learning programming on a toy-like Commodore, Chris has since built software in projects from education to finance, startups to enterprises. He works at Atlassian, developer of collaboration tools, where he is currently writing a book on how Atlassian makes software and exploring blockchain-based technology stacks. He has spoken on Bitcoin and software development in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. His hackathon efforts include adding Bitcoin "bug bounty" capability to Atlassian's JIRA and Bitcoin tips to HipChat and Confluence.
