Exploring a Holographic Mars
NASA scientists are walking on Mars, and you're going to join them soon.
While we haven't put a human physically on Mars yet, we've built the most accurate 3D reconstruction of Mars ever and partnered with Microsoft to build a mixed-reality system that is allowing scientists to explore Mars as if they were standing right beside the Curiosity Rover. It's the first enterprise application of Microsoft HoloLens and not only a breakthrough for scientists, but for everyone who longs to journey to another planet.
The NASA leads of this project will share the story of how it was built, the technologies that enable it, and the future of mixed and virtual reality space exploration.
