Anthony Watson serves as Uphold’s President & CEO.

Prior to joining Uphold, Anthony was the CIO of Nike, Inc. where he led technology strategy and operations for the world's largest sportswear and sports apparel brand, globally. Previously, Watson was the Managing Director & CIO of Europe Middle East Retail & Business Banking (EMERBB) and of Global Operations at Barclays Bank PLC.

Before Barclays, Anthony was the SVP & Global Head of Technology Services at Wells Fargo & Co, where he led the technology division of the bank across 44 countries and was a member of the Wells Fargo Bank International Executive Committee.

Anthony is a Member of the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee of Digital Global Services and serves as a member of the National Board of Directors, Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee of GLAAD. He is also a Patron of Diversity Role Models, an Ambassador for the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Chair & Head Judge of the European Diversity Awards.
