I work for New York City Economic Development Corporation where I develop and implement entrepreneurship support programs for emerging sectors in New York City.

Most recently, I ran the New York's Next Top Makers Program which is a community-sourced incubator dedicated to connecting independent innovation with local production.

I am passionate about connecting people, organizations, and cities with resources to solve complex economic problems through innovation, competition and local solutions.

Tenoch Esparza is a musician and technologist with an MBA from Columbia. After high school, he studied classical piano at the Moscow State Conservatory for 4 years. He is a co-founder of Sunhouse. Sunhouse builds expressive instruments for the modern musician. Through signal processing, machine learning and sensor technologies, we are bridging the gap between digital sound and human expression. Their first product, Sensory Percussion, combines the expressive power of an acoustic drum with the flexibility of an electronic drum to bring the art of drumming into the digital age.
