Beat the Bully: Bring Light to Darkness on the Web
The internet creates bullies -- but it also creates heroes; the anonymous friends that race to send support when a mom posts on Facebook that her son got no RSVPs to his birthday party; those like Lizze Velasquez who's bullied backstory turned her into an online role model. Come to this panel to hear how online bullying, and online heroes, are being addressed from different perspectives: victims, bullies, creators, brands, platforms. Learn how the biggest voices – creators and brands – are using their platforms to speak up against online bullying. We promise to touch and to inspire, but mostly importantly, to provide a roadmap for bringing light to your corner of the web.
