New World of Photography and Visual Storytelling
Seasoned National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore has put the reach of modern media platforms to work through Photo Ark. In the wake of devastatingly increased wildlife extinctions, Sartore has set out to make portraits of as many of the Earth’s species as possible to create a visual Noah’s Ark. This project uses the power of both traditional and social media on National Geographic’s many publishing platforms to create a connection between animals and the people who can help protect them. Sartore has brought this timely issue into the hands of anyone with a smartphone, TV or computer. Share in this panel’s lessons of making media meaningful, while enjoying amazing photos and videos.
