On the anniversary of her historic and unprecedented swearing in at SXSW 2015, Michelle K. Lee – the first woman and Asian American leader of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office – returns to share her vision on expanding and empowering the innovator community. Under Secretary Lee will kick off this featured event by sharing insights on how the intellectual property system and efforts to promote inclusive entrepreneurship optimize American innovation. She will then facilitate a discussion amongst a diverse group of startup CEOs on their successes and failures, and how intellectual property & inclusive teams are unlocking the next generation of entrepreneurs.
