Jeff Mullen is an inventor on over 150 pending and issued patents ranging from mainstream consumer electronics for Apple, Inc., to children's electronic toys for Anderson Press. Jeff is considered one of the most prolific young inventors in the United States and has won many of the world's most prestigious international business plan competitions, including the Rice Business Plan Competition, Carnegie Mellon McGinnis Venture Competition, and the University of San Francisco Business Plan Competition.

Jeff began his career at the prestigious law firm of Fish & Neave ('01-'07), where he was a patent attorney. Here, Jeff brought in millions of dollars of new business, managed a group of patent agents and attorneys, and prosecuted, licensed, and litigated patents as well as performed a variety of general corporate transactional work.

Karrie MacDonald is VP of Business Development for Secure Transactions at Gemalto North America and has been working in Gemalto’s banking and financial group for almost 10 years. Prior to Gemalto, Karrie was with the Royal Bank of Canada holding various positions that involved a range of aspects from commercial banking, vendor management, procurement, and banking operations. Throughout Karrie’s 20 years of experience in the banking sector, she has recently helped lead projects regarding Canada’s EMV migration. With the EMV migration in the US, Karrie continues to focus on banking security for financial institutions and is developing new payment innovation opportunities.
