Following a career as an artist in a metal band signed to Columbia Records in the 1980's, David Rath worked in artist management and eventually took the reigns at the Philadelphia Music Conference where he expanded the showcase roster and panel topics to bring hard rock and metal to a wider audience at the nation's third largest music industry conference at that time. David eventually landed at Roadrunner Records where he has been for the last 16 years, handling everything from A&R Administration, Royalty Accounting, overseeing the Creative Department, Video Commissioner and his current position as the Head of A&R. He has been with Roadrunner from it's time as a small, independent metal label to becoming the world's premier rock and metal label now part of Atlantic Records. Over the years Rath commissioned videos such as "Rockstar" for Nickelback and the Grammy winning "Before I Forget" for Slipknot, alongside the multi-platinum Slipknot DVD "Disasterpieces". As the Head of A&R for Roadrunner, Dave has A&R'd albums from artists including Megadeth, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Ratt, The Amity Affliction, Dream Theater, Marmozets, Trivium and Gojira.

RADIO. It's what LA Lloyd does! After graduating from Western Carolina University, Lloyd began his professional career in Myrtle Beach, SC at WKZQ. Later, he was one of the original DJs on Wave 104 in Myrtle Beach, a station that went from worst to #1 in its first ratings. Then it was on to Los Angeles and a job at Q-105 in Ventura. After the riots, floods and earthquakes, it was back to the east coast to launch 96X in Norfolk/Virginia Beach as its original night jock. After the success from that station, Lloyd moved to Austin to launch 101X as Asst. Program Director and afternoon personality. He was very instrumental in launching many Alternative artists of the 90s by giving them airplay first and was known as having "the ear" from many in the music industry for his ability to pick the hits.
A new technology began in 1998 known as Star System in Austin, TX where he worked with 40 other DJs collectively doing almost 250 shifts daily in a variety of formats. It was during this time the LA Lloyd Rock 30 Countdown began on KNCN C101 in Corpus Christi, TX. In 2000, the countdown was syndicated nationally by Dial-Global Communications New York City. In addition, he was selected as Program Director position at Clear Channel's Z102 in Austin. The legendary 99.5 KISS-FM lured LA Lloyd to San Antonio as Program Director and afternoon drive personality. It was here where he finally worked with his longtime idol, John Lisle, KISS morning host. In 2012, LA Lloyd returned back to Austin and landed at legendary KLBJ-FM as Program Director and afternoon drive personality. That same year, LA Lloyd's Rock 30 changed its name to LA Lloyd Rock Countdown and is syndicated by Colbert Media in conjunction with United Stations. Also, Lloyd hosts Notorious 90s through Sun City Radio in conjunction with Envision Networks.

Lloyd is married to Kathi and they have two daughters, Taylor and Ava.
