Josh Gottesman is a native of Houston, Texas and a resident of Jerusalem, Israel.

After a stint as a high school teacher in Texas, Josh moved to Israel where he studied for a masters in Jewish Thought at Tel Aviv University. Following the completion of his masters Josh began working at the Reut Institute in Tel Aviv, Israel's premiere policy center.

Through his work with the Reut Institute Josh became engaged with the Makers movement, bringing 3D design courses to schools for at-risk youth.

Josh is co-Founder of TOM - Tikkun Olam Makers, which organizes gatherings around the world utilizing modern digital manufacturing to rapidly proto-type work devices to assist people living with disabilities.

Most recently Josh has joined the MassChallenge Israel team, helping to further the global entrepreneurial revolution and stimulate local economy by empowering startups.

Michal Kabatznik oversees TOM:Tikkun Olam Makers' growing global network.
TOM brings technology experts together with people with disabilities in order to create solutions for every-day challenges. Since getting started in 2014, TOM has held 7 makeathons around the world and has addressed over 500 challenges.
As part of her role, Michal works with groups interested in bringing the TOM magic to their communities.
A hybrid Israeli-American-South African currently based in Tel Aviv, she has always had an international perspective on social change. Michal is a true believer in grassroots bottom-up organization.
In between conference calls and making the world a better place, Michal can be found booking her next adventure and is on an endless quest to find the perfect sunset.
