Chris Stallman is a Principal at Fontinalis Partners, a Detroit- and Boston-based venture capital firm that invests in next-generation mobility. Founded by Bill Ford (Executive Chairman of Ford Motor Company) and others with long track records in transportation and technology, Fontinalis has invested in 18 companies across such areas as ride sharing, car sharing, and logistics.

As a senior member of the investment team at Fontinalis, Chris leads the firm's diligence activities for new investments, and he serves as a Board Observer to several portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Fontinalis in 2011, Chris spent five years in valuation and transaction advisory at Stout Risius Ross (SRR), where he played a critical role in advancing the firm's work with private equity and venture capital clients.

Chris earned his BBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, and he is a CFA charterholder.

Ted Serbinski is an entrepreneur and early stage investor operating at the intersection of Detroit's automotive dominance and its entrepreneurial resurgence. He is the Managing Director of Techstars Mobility, the first US startup accelerator program focused on next-generation mobility technologies. Previously, he was a Partner and founding team member of Detroit Venture Partners, a $55M seed-stage fund that has invested in 25 companies.

Ted also serves as the Chairman of the Techweek Detroit Executive Advisory Board, board member for the Michigan Venture Capital Association, and board member for TechTown. He's also the Executive Producer of the documentary, Restarting the Motor City.

For Ted's work in catalyzing the Detroit startup scene, he has been recognized as a Champion of the New Economy by Junior Achievement. He also has been awarded the Crain's 40 Under 40, dBusiness 30 in their 30s, Oakland County Elite 40 under 40, and the Detroit Techweek 100.
