X Alfonso collaborated with artists like James Slater, Montell Jordan, Rick Wakeman, Cibeles, Bebé, Carlos Varela, Descemer Bueno and Audioslave, and played in Paz sin fronteras II (Peace Without Borders), a multitudinary concert that convoked more than 1.15 million people in Plaza de la Revolución, Havana, Cuba. His band played in different international places like: Spain, Panama, Mexico, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland, Germany, United States, Canada… with presentations in festivals around the world like the Rock in Rio (Brasil) Womex (Spain, 2006), Roskilde (Denmark, 2007), Peace&Love (Sweden, 2010/2011), Luminato (Canada, 2013).
For his supporting work in defense of childhood and education in projects like Calle G and Schools against Hurricanes was recognized with the title of UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
Like a filmmaker, he made some video-clips, and he won some prize named Lucas, the principal Cuban event about this genre of the audiovisual art. In 2009, he realized the documentary named “Sin Titulo” (Without Title), about the universe of the artists in Cuba at the recent years. That is the point of the beginnings of a new project, Fabrica de Arte Cubano (Cuban Art Factory), a unique space in Cuba where X Alfonso presents young artists (musician, filmmakers, painters, dancers, actors) with the old generations; he made a space that is the opportunity to show the Art that the people do not meet. Nowadays, Fabrica de Arte Cubano is a consolidated cultural center in Havana, and a national and international referential for the Cuban Culture; and X has achieved prominence as one of the island's most successful entrepreneurs and his vision has been celebrated by many important American media like CNN, The Paper Magazine, The Huffington Post and Billboard.
