PIZZA TIME was started by David Castillo & Frankie Brack on February 5, 2013. David Castillo writes the music & Frankie Brack makes the illustrations. Live the band varies from solo sets by David to a full 5 piece band with keyboard, drums, bass & lead guitar (this what you can expect at this year's SXSW). 9 months after PIZZA TIME started Burger Records released the first album "Quiero Mas!" followed by "U WANNA PIZZA ME?" The newest release is the band's 3rd album "Todo" which was released on vinyl & cassette on February 5, 2016. PIZZA TIME stands apart from other lo-fi pop artists for two reasons: 1) David sings in spanish 2) Frankie makes amazing art. In David's own words the band sound is, "Simple songs with hooks for days. You don't need to know spanish. You don't even need to know how to dance...the music will show you what you need to do."
