Spiral Vortex is a powerful psychedelic rock band from Chile, full of heart and passion, their energetic and pure sound comes from their love of music and the connection they have with the special place they come from, surrounded by mountains the band was formed on 2010 by Maxi Aylwin (bass), Sebastian Aylwin (guitar), Isma Miranda (keyboards) and Ljubo Franulic (drums). Spiral Vortex doesn't fit easily in any rock category, they believe in music as energy and seek to constantly evolve as a band.

In the past 5 years Spiral Vortex has released independently 1 EP, Spiral Vortex EP (2010) and 2 full length albums "Maia" (2012) recorded at BYM Records and "Cimatica" (2014) produced and mixed at their home studio and mastered by Chris Hanzek (Seatlle). On May 2015 they recorded Geometry, a single produced by Converse Rubber Tracks. The band has been playing constantly in the past years, in several festivals and venues mainly related to the psych independent music scene in Santiago and other cities like Valparaiso, Concepcion, Chillan, Curico and Los Andes.

Currently the band is preparing their third album now part of Rio Bueno Records.
