Austin's own Corey "Tha Proof" Anderson is 1/3 of the award winning Christian Rap group "The W.A.R.R.I.O.R.S.". Counted amongst the first pioneering artist of the genre in this region, "Tha Proof" has shared his gift of song to the city, state & nation. His music has been showcased nation wide through B.E.T. And local television & radio stations. Tha Proof" proudly accepted the Texas Holy Hip Hop Achievement Award twice with the W.A.R.R.I.O.R.S., and was presented the "Perseverance Award" by gospel music's own "Bill the Mailman Martin" & The Texas Gospel Announcers Guild. Corey "Tha Proof" Anderson has always believed in giving back to our community and has ministered and served at many local events, such as the K.A.Z.I. Summer fest & The Annual Juneteenth Celebration. Corey gives back every year by participating as a camp counselor at "Loose The Youth" summer camp in Victoria Texas. He is married with three sons and believes in shaping & molding our young people .This is will be his 5th year participating in the SXSW festival.
