Introducing KLOE, your brand new favourite popstar.
At the age of just 17 KLOE found herself headlining famed Scottish music venue King Tuts. That same year the Glasgow born singer and producer released her debut single Grip which swiftly attracted the attention of IAMSOUND, the Los Angeles based label who helped spawn the careers of Florence and the Machine, Little Boots and Charli XCX. Now, as her relationship with IAMSOUND continues to flourish, KLOE is now releasing brand new music on National Anthem (HAIM, CHVRCHES, Wet et al.) / Columbia Records here in the UK. New track Touch – which is Produced by Lewis Gardiner of Scottish band Prides - emulates modern youth, providing an honest insight into KLOE and the teenage generation of today.
Growing up listening to Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchel, Alanis Morissette and Taylor Swift, KLOE cites her modern day influences as varied as St. Vincent, The Weeknd and Drake. KLOE performed at Radio 1’s Big Weekend earlier this year and has to date supported the likes of Gabrielle Aplin and rising star Jack Garrett. Having just turned 19, she’s currently curating her own regular club night called BLAKOUT with her friends in Glasgow. KLOE has already enlisted early support from the likes of Fader, Clash, Nylon, Sunday Times Culture, 405, Buzzfeed, Wonderland, Shortlist, Notion and Time Out to name but a few. Big support at Radio 1 and upcoming shows at SXSW, The Great Escape, Dot 2 Dot, Live In Leeds and an exciting support slot with Marina And The Diamonds in Glasgow next month are all cumulating into a hugely exciting start to 2016.
