Missi & Mister Baker is a Portland, Oregon-based roots Americana duo featuring John Baker and Melinda Hasting. Their sound is punctuated by slide and steel with an emphasis on blues, hillbilly and gothic folk. They released their first EP, Where Black Ravens Flew, in November, 2014. Walter Fields frequently joins the duo on upright bass.
