Crowdsourcing Policy: Constituents to Changemakers

Saturday, March 12
11:00AM - 12:00PM

JW Marriott
Salon 3-4
110 E 2nd St

How can elected leaders craft an inclusive agenda that takes advantage of their community’s knowledge, experience, and perspectives? How can crowdsourcing help solve traffic problems or find innovative approaches to adapt for disruptive technologies? How can public and private partnerships find balance between the imperatives of elected officials and the priorities of both businesses and the community? This panel brings together local leaders and experts who are pushing the boundaries of community engagement to find solutions to their biggest challenges. We’ll discuss these urgent questions, and explore emerging technologies helping to make crowdsourcing a reliable tool in policy making.
