Live 360° Video and VR: The Immersive Revolution

Monday, March 14
5:00PM - 6:00PM

Austin Convention Center
Room 12AB
531 E 4th St

A dream for decades, why is the immersive content revolution starting now? The world’s biggest companies like Samsung see VR as the future, while global brands like MTV are getting on board. Immersive content is now simpler for artists to create & fans to enjoy. Beyond VR headsets, cheap/powerful mobile phones will help adoption go mainstream.

Panelists with expertise in technology, entertainment and Hollywood will debate the obstacles and opportunities in immersive content, citing previous projects including the 2016 NBA All-Star Game, which was presented in live 360°.
