Traditional Charity Is Dead
This session will be a conversation between Leila Janah, Founder and CEO of Sama, Matt Taylor, Director of Strategy and Operations at IDEO.org, and Soraya Darabi, Co-Founder of Zady on the idea that traditional charity is dead. The future is a reimagined version of relief where business is the ultimate driver of social impact; a new model where our charitable efforts are no longer reserved for nights and weekends but incorporated into our 9-to-5.
This panel will explore ways we can accomplish that vision and open up a broader discussion about how business can (and should be) used to make the world more just, verdant and peaceful.
