Following up on last year's successful Filmmaker/Music Supervisor Meetup, this meeting would be a venue where people engaged in Film, TV, or other audio visual media learn how to better work the resources that a professional music supervisor can provide. Backed by the Guild of Music Supervisors, this meetup is a place where real issues of using music can be aired & worked thru while getting to know more creative people in this specific area of production. Issues to be discussed: working with songwriters, & composers; budgeting for a film; licensing on a tight budget, etc. Because this is a less formal meetup, it is more of a discussion of issues & a coming together of professionals.
