Diane Miller specializes in the design, facilitation and implementation of community engagement projects that help diverse groups of people work together to find common ground for action. For fifteen years, she has worked with Central Texas governments, businesses and community groups on multi-sector initiatives addressing issues such as transportation, land use planning and the environment. Diane focuses on process, relationships and outcomes, using her engagement and group process design skills to bring together the necessary components to foster collaborative action on complex community challenges.

Before launching Civic Collaboration in 2011, Diane was assistant director for Envision Central Texas, a regional planning non-profit that successfully brought together leaders and community members in an extensive visioning process to shape the region’s future. Diane’s background is a unique blend of community engagement, group process design, and corporate and civic culture change expertise. Before coming to Texas, she worked in the field of organizational development, with a focus on leadership, teamwork, and organizational change management. She serves on the Board of Directors of the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation, and has certifications from Fielding University's Dialogue, Deliberation and Public Engagement program and the International Association of Public Participation.
