Prototyping Democracy: Better Collaboration Design
What if you had to innovate using Robert’s Rules of Order or design software using parliamentary procedure? As the world grows in complexity, we still expect to make complex public policy decisions by asking the gentleman to yield. Technology advances both necessitate and enable a new how: agile, design, co-creation, and more. In this workshop, we start with improv theater: Scene 1 - you choose the innovation category to be acted out using Robert’s Rules. Scene 2 - with the same topic, you choose a different method. Everyone is then invited to co-create and prototype democracy’s next iteration of collaboration. Bring your knowledge of collaboration methods and come prepared to prototype!
