Torrance Hatch better known by his stage name Boosie Badazz, formerly Lil Boosie, is an American rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana .Hatch was bestowed the nickname Boosie by his family, and he was raised in Southside Baton Rouge. As Boosie, he has released numerous regular studio albums while also contributing to a number of mixtapes and compilations. His biggest main stream hit is "Wipe Me Down" however he his critically acclaimed throughout the world for his gansta rap projects.

Hatch served time in the Louisiana State Penitentiary from 2009–14, having been sentenced to eight years after pleading guilty to drug charges and was found not guilty of 2nd Degree Murder. He was released early on March 5, 2014. On October 20, 2014, Lil' Boosie officially changed his name to "Boosie Badazz".

This Year "Boosie Badazz" Has released 3 mix tapes in 3 months and his upcoming "Thug Talk" will be released during SXSW on 3/16/16. Boosie is the head of Bad Azz Music Syndicate and comes to SXSW to promote his breaking artist B.Will and urban clothing line "Jewel House".
