Molina y los Cosmicos is the artistic name used by uruguayan singer and song-writer Nicolas Molina, who plays together with Martin Mendez, Ignacio Vitancurt, Sebastian Arruti and Emma Ralph.

In February 2nd 2014 he edits his debut album “EL desencanto”, being chosen by the latin American press as “one of the best albums of the year”. His debut single “En el camino de sol” was chosen by radio station KEXP for the summery podcast of that year. This made it possible for the band to play live in that radio station and give a full performance in Seattle.

In 2105 the band performed in different countries like USA, Brasil, Argentina and of course, in Uruguay, and shared the stage with the main contemporary latin American and spanish artists: Bomba Stereo, El Mató a un Policia Motorizado, Nacho Vegas and Camila Moreno.

Their new and second album “el Folk de la Frontera” is coming soon. It will be released in this Febrero 29 and it will be mixed by Craig Shumacher (producer of Calexico).
