GAIA is considered one of Peru´s premium rock bands. With 4 CD´s released - Solar de Sara (2003), La Teoría de Volar (2007), Giroscopios, Coordenadas y la Fábrica de Nubes (2011), 2001 (2015-2016) and a 14 year career, GAIA has also one of the most commited and active Fanclubs called La Orbita, which follows the band and their projects everywhere they go.
The Latin American edition of Rolling Stone Magazine called them: "One of the most resounding rock bands in Peru" and included them in their top 100 songs chart, just like MTVla when they included the band in their Top 10 videos, top 100 videos and considered the band for "MTV Buzz promotion" being the first Peruvian band to achieve this recognition.

In 2014, GAIA took a big step in their career, performing in Mexico´s biggest music festival Vive Latino.
GAIA is releasing their new CD, "2001" which consists of 3 volumes, Galaxia (October 2015), Años Luz (April 2016) and Contacto (September 2016).

La edición Latinoamericana de la revista Rolling Stone los llamó “una de las bandas de rock más impactantes en el Perú” y los incluyo en su ranking anual de las 100 mejores canciones igual que MTVla, que incluyó a la banda en su lista de top 10 y top 100 videos y fue escogida para el “MTV Buzz promotion” siendo la primera banda peruana que recibió ese reconocimiento.
Con una gran presencia escénica y una cercana y poderosa interacción con la audiencia, GAIA ha abierto shows de grandes y famosos artistas como Guns and Roses, Collective Soul, Sebastian Bach, Bret Michaels, Placebo, Adler´s Appetite, Julian Casablancas y Pixies, además de haber compartido escena con muchas bandas latinoamericanas en festivales masivos.
El 2014, GAIA tomó un gran paso en su carrera al haber sido parte del cartel del festival más grande de México, el Vive Latino.
