Tracy Maddux, CEO, CD Baby | BookBaby | HostBaby

Mr. Maddux is responsible for all the CD Baby brands and is based in Portland, OR. He’s passionate about independent music and has focused his four year tenure at CD Baby at finding new ways for artists and songwriters to make more money from their music. Prior to joining CD Baby in 2010, Mr. Maddux served in various senior management and finance roles in technology firms including Intel Corporation. From 2001 to 2008, he managed Logic General, Inc., an optical disc manufacturer and provider of fulfillment services, as President and COO, leading a management buyout in 2004. Mr. Maddux has served on various non-profit boards and initiatives, including PUSH America, in service of people with disabilities and as chairman of Young Entrepreneurs (Oregon) Business Week. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and MBA in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
