The SXSW Film Festival revealed quite a lineup of 24 Beats Per Second programming that included JACO, the story of revolutionary bass player Jaco Pastorius.

Music and Film badgeholders will have the opportunity to hear from the filmmakers. Director Paul Marchand, screenwriter Robert Trujillo (Metallica), drummer Peter Erskine (Weather Report) and Jaco’s son, John Pastorius, will speak about the making of the documentary while touching on Jaco’s life and the lasting impact he had on modern music.
