Should Music Mags Survive or Get Killed Off?
Music publications are fighting to survive in a digital world with competition from blogs, newsgroups, mailing lists, apps, mobile services and streaming services. Many publications have died off or been bought out and the survivors, along with the rest of the publishing industry, might not have a long future. There are major implications for the the whole music world and music industry (including fans and musicians) which are riding on their future and their well-being but there's also the question of whether digital services may fill the gap.
