Abbie Jung is a co-founder of Synergy Social Ventures, a Hong Kong-based nonprofit organization that believes philanthropy and social entrepreneurship are necessary tools for sustainable development. Synergy provides capacity building and funding for early stage social entrepreneurs through its Help Desk and Advisory programs and experiential philanthropic investment education for new philanthropists through its Future Funders Giving Circle.

Abbie spearheads Nexus Global Youth Summit (Nexus) in Asia, developing social change opportunities with collaborative communities of next generation philanthropists and social entrepreneurs in Asia. She has created collaborative Nexus communities of social changemakers in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand. She launched the East and Southeast Asia chapter of Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) to create a holistic and supportive ecosystem around entrepreneurship as a means of sustainable development.

Kelly Ballard is the Executive Director of Bazaarvoice Foundation, a corporate foundation that works to catalyze the next generation of highly-educated, entrepreneurial youth who will become our most innovative business and community leaders. Kelly is responsible for BVF’s overall strategy, well-being and results. Under her leadership since its inception in 2012, the foundation has granted $262k to 20 nonprofits, reached more than 78,000 youth and mobilized Bazaarvoice employees to fill nearly 2,500 volunteer positions related to BVF’s mission.

Kelly currently holds the Chair position for both High Tech Community Partners (YaYa) and Austin Corporate Impact Network (ACIN). She also sits on the steering committee for Central Texas Education Funders (CTEF) and is a former Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Board member.
