Go Out of this World with an Astronaut
There are those of us who stare at the stars each night and wonder about our place in the universe. And then there are the six people who don't inhabit the Earth. They are the astronauts living and working in space aboard the International Space Station, flying 250 miles above the planet at 17,500 mph. During this session, you'll meet astronaut Reid Wiseman, who recently returned from six-month flight in space. You'll have a chance to ask and interact with him about his mission conducting science and gathering data from the orbiting laboratory.
Being active on social media, Reid routinely shared amazing imagery of Earth. But in this session, we'll go deeper to hear the stories behind the pictures of life aboard station, the Earth and the science.
