Future of Analytics: Info When You Need to Know
The future of Business Analytics will be on a ‘need-to-know’ basis. People don’t have time to look at information or digest reports. There is too little time, too much data. In the future, information should come to people. If a piece of information is relevant or critical to you, the information will find you. That information will let you know, wherever you are, through the appropriate communication format, what you need to know. In other words, the technology will be smart enough to know what matters to you, when it matters and what you should do about it. Mirroring William Gibson’s quote, “the future is already among us, just unevenly distributed”, the pieces of technology are already available to craft this future. This talk intends to sketch the future, tying together forward-looking applications and groundbreaking technology. A panel will bring together worldwide experts in the fields of predictive analytics and innovative consumer technologies to color our vision of the future.
