IoT, or the Internet of Things, is the buzzword that describes a world of connected and intelligent devices that bring convenience and new functionality to our world. It promises to not only enhance our lives through the connected home, automated car and wearable devices, but to help solve the global problems through improvements in farming, clean water and smart cities. But how will these changes actually occur? What products and technologies are happening and are available now, that can be used to make these future visions a reality today and what are possible inhibitors for success. We'll discuss the building blocks of IoT, from sensing and data collecting, to processing, communications, applications and data analytics.
This sessions will include a diverse panel of experts, from hardware and software design, apps, to cloud storage and software analytics.
