Minimal Viable Pub: How to Open a Pub on $5k

In July 2014 , I opened a bar [ we call them pubs :) ] in Dublin, called MVP. The idea was simple , how could we use Eric Ries principles to open a 'product' or business in the real world of food and drink. We opened within 10 days of getting the keys, got all our friends to help with painting, plumbing, decor, furniture, ideas, suggestions and so on. We spent $5k doing everything, and made it up as we went along. We powered our tills using a very basic version of a pos SAAS product we're creating called Tilltonic [ www.tilltonic.com]. Nearly everything we did applied Eric Ries principles of build - measure - learn. Except we did it in the world of food & drink.
