Young Millennials: Entrepreneurship for A New Era
From the traditional business page to the tech press, young entrepreneurs seem to be in the news every day. This session will explore the challenges these entrepreneurs face, from creating and running companies to deciding whether to pursue a less traditional education path. The session will also explore what communities can do to support entrepreneurship today and what young millennials can do to seek out and engage such support.
The session will be a conversation between Nick Arnett, Summit Community Development Manager at the Thiel Foundation, and Patrick Stoddart, co-founder of Phone2Action, about their own experiences being young people taking nontraditional paths, as well as engaging the audience in a dialogue about ways to support millennial entrepreneurship in their own cities.
