Dr. Scott Collins is an accomplished innovator, entrepreneur and leader with 24 years expertise spanning engineering, the life sciences, biodevices, startups and corporate strategy. His biomedical research focused on growing blood vessels out of the body and utilizing adult stem cells to enhance this process. He has proven experience in process automation and technology deployment and he developed and perfected many business and scientific techniques. In the ‘00s Scott successfully exited a company he founded and earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas. During and since this time he has been involved in international healthcare philanthropy. He has created business plans unique to both the developed and developing world related to healthcare and is very interested in personalized healthcare—shifting the focus from the physician to the user (patient).
